Our world is changing fast. The 20 hottest years on record have occurred in the past 22 years (WMO). Unless immediate steps are taken, global temperatures will continue to rise. Luckily, there is a huge global shift happening that harnesses the power of business and technology to address climate change.
From tech start-ups to multinational corporations, CEOs, mobility professionals, and industry leaders around the world are making sustainable growth their ultimate mission. They are reshaping their businesses, products, and ways of working to create innovation and disruption in the mobility industry. There’s no time to lose.
Over the past three years, we gathered thought leaders, climate advocates, professionals, and students in Amsterdam to explore sustainable and profitable ways to create the future of mobility. A zero-emission world is not something we achieve alone. It’s something we have to—and will—achieve together.
The community of REVOLUTIONARIES takes many shapes and forms. From car manufacturers, energy companies and fleet companies, to investment banking, universities and governments. Here are a few of the organizations that have joined forces at REVOLUTION Conference.
The third edition of REVOLUTION gathered mobility thought leaders and clean tech experts from 57 countries worldwide. We were inspired by keynotes outside of this world (literally) with speakers from NASA, HyperloopTT, Volkswagen, and ENGIE. Our afternoon was dedicated to (inter)action in many workshops (such as Amsterdam, McKinsey and WBCSD) and browsing the Market Place.
In our second edition of REVOLUTION we gathered 515 cleantech experts from 32 countries for a full day of inspiring keynotes and conversations aimed at answering one question: "What can we do to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility?". We created the world's largest brainstorm on eMobility challenges, and invited NIO, Bloomberg, and more on stage to highlight the accelerated growth of eMobility and clean energy.
In our very first edition of REVOLUTION, we brought 150 cleantech experts together to explore new developments in electric mobility. Thought leaders from ENGIE, Rexel, CleanTechnica, and more took over the stage to talk about cities and businesses that have embraced electric. During this event, EVBox announced its acquisition by energy utility ENGIE.
THE CITY OF AMSTERDAM
A world leader in electric transportation and charging infrastructure, Amsterdam aims to make city transportation zero-emission by 2025. There is no better place to host REVOLUTION.
After REVOLUTION 2019 we sat down with city officials to discuss Amsterdam's challenges, and opportunities for the future.
WESTERGAS | REVOLUTION 2020 VENUE
The Westergasfabriek is both a cultural highlight of Amsterdam and a meeting place for entrepreneurs. Transformed from a polluting factory to one of the most sustainable event venues in the world, Westergas is the embodiment of change and a perfect reflection of the REVOLUTION cause.
